LABS: void
I finished my LABS research at CMD Avans Breda last December! I researched how I could get people to participate in environmental change by getting them to feel awkward.
From standing in the streets and asking people to paint spots on me where they would feel uncomfortable being touched to putting dildo's and nipples in the Albert Heijn (sorry, not sorry AH). I ended up making wallpaper that looks like flowers, dreamcatchers or chaplets, but by having a closer look you can see (dead) animals.
I wanted to make a conversation starter, to make something that could be for sale at a lot of places. When we buy wallpaper we look at colors and shapes, I wanted to play with that.
It's a project that will grow and maybe someday you will actually find it in stores!
